Why would she spend time working with a Board she clearly held in contempt? It was reported that CCA had a shortfall again to the tune of somewhere near half a million, so Marlow would like to put the CCSD in a worse light, I guess. Marlow's interests are in CCA students, not CCSD. She's there to throw a wrench in an award winning school district and hurt the students simply because she feels she can and is entitled to play the part of Bitter Betty.
