3. is Sept. 14. at the Towne Lake Hills Golf Club. Officials are seeking golfers and interested sponsors. Money raised by the tournament will fund two scholarships for area seniors.

4.  Family, Career and Community Leaders of America is creating a 35th Anniversary cookbook. Graduates or former staff members of Etowah are invited to submit recipes of any type to pam.teems@cherokee.k12.ga.us. The cookbook will be printed at the end of September.
