Storms Continue, Schools Open

Here is the information you need to know Tuesday, Sept. 6.

1. Showers and thunderstorms are going to continue today with a high of 71 degrees and a low of 60, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Despite Monday's weather, Cherokee County will be having school today continuing with the regular schedule.

3. Commission Chairman Buzz Ahrens has declared a for Cherokee County after Monday's storms. The Towne Lake Hills South subdivision was hardest hit by the tornado, said Cherokee Sheriff's Lt. Jay Baker. from the storms.
