4. Senior Extravaganza
Where/When: Cherokee County Recreation Center,  Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Why Go: There will be health screenings, demonstrations, entertainment, food, Mary Kay makeovers, more than 70 exhibitors, door prize drawings every 30 minutes and free bingo all day for the senior community.

5. Cherokee Indian Festival and Mother's Day PowWow
Where/When: , Saturday 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Why Go: The 22nd annual festival has a Mother’s Day Honor Dance for all moms and children's activities that include bungee jumps, rock wall races and pony rides while enjoying the Native American culture.
Pricing: $10 for adults; $5 for children; Free for ages 5 and younger.
