Summer Concert Series Schedule Released

The City of Woodstock has announced its 2012 Summer Concert Series line up. Concerts are from May through September with one concert per month. 

This year’s concert series includes:

• May 12 -- Mother’s Finest
• June 9 -- Blackberry Smoke
• July 14 -- A1A (The Official Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band)
• Aug. 11 -- Lovin Spoonful
• Sept. 8 -- JaneDear Girls 

“The Woodstock Summer Concert Series, now in its 15th year, is a well established concert series with a loyal and expanded following," Director Preston Pooser said. "Each year, the Woodstock Concert Series continues to generate excitement within the community and provide an opportunity to enjoy some of the best national recording artists as well as emerging local music talent.” 

For the fourth year, has agreed to be the Presenting/Title Sponsor for the Summer Concert Series. Pooser said

“We are extremely excited to be partnering again with Northside Hospital-Cherokee to provide this year’s concert series." Pooser said. "The hospital is a tremendous asset to Woodstock and all of Cherokee County."

However, the deadline to become a 2012 Concert Series Sponsor is Friday, March 23.”
