Businesses Still Needed for Expo

The deadline for the Woodstock High School Business Expo is 5 p.m. Wednesday.

is hosting a Business Expo for students Aug. 16, and booths are still open for local businesses.

This expo is geared toward students working on their Senior Projects where they must shadow a professional for approxiamtely 15 hours within the school year. Woodstock High has 480 seniors that are seeking mentors for their projects. 

"Our hope is to match students with businesses and entrepreneurs to facilitate better senior projects and to promote the local business community," said Billly Peppers, Main Street Woodstock president.

Businesses can set up their personal booths, share information with the students, give out takeaways and potentially serve as a mentor.

Individuals can fill out this register form and email it to bpeppers@woodstockga.gov by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The expo will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Main Street Woodstock is also seeking volunteers to help with set up and take down, registration, greeting attendees and information booths. If interested, call 770-592-6056.
