HearthSide Honors First Residents

The $15.3 million senior living rental community offers one and two-bedroom residences.

The NorSouth Development Company is honoring HearthSide Towne Lake’s first residents. The $15.3 million senior living rental community recently opened as the centerpiece of the Madison Pointe at Towne Lake mixed-use development. 

HearthSide Towne Lake offers active, independent seniors an affordable lifestyle with unparalleled amenities in an extraordinary location at I-575 and Towne Lake Parkway in Cherokee County. The project was designed by Foley Design Associates Architects and built by NorSouth Constructs. 

“The director of community development for the , Richard McLeod, has called HearthSide Towne Lake ‘the perfect development for this location’ and I think the robust pre-leasing and leasing activity has proven his point,” said Brendan Barr, vice president of development at NorSouth. “We are extremely gratified by the interest and enthusiasm the community has shown for HearthSide Towne Lake. The adjacent neighborhood of Towne Lake is Cherokee County’s largest residential community, and I imagine it is home to family members of many of our new residents."

Madison Pointe at Towne Lake, developed by Madison Retail, LLC, includes the new and a , along with neighborhood specialty retail and restaurants. 's Medical Office is immediately adjacent to the property. The development’s ideal location is just 2 miles from the redeveloped Downtown Woodstock. North Georgia’s mountains, lakes and rivers are just a short drive to the north, while the City of Atlanta is just a short drive to the south.

NorSouth is known for creating amenity-rich senior living communities throughout the greater Atlanta area. HearthSide Towne Lake is no exception, offering private gardens, a media room, fitness center, art studio, sunroom and bocce ball court. There are 100 one and two-bedroom residences feature open living design with entertainment bars, designer kitchens with pantries, Energy Star appliances and large walk-in closets. Ground floor residences feature direct entry from outside, and select units include balconies.

NorSouth is committed to green building and designed HearthSide Towne Lake to meet EarthCraft House Multifamily standards. Sustainable building practices include energy-efficient appliances, indoor air quality improvements, rainwater harvest system and LED outdoor lighting.
