Holidays 2012: Recycle Phones and Coats; Donate Toys

Do you have items you no longer need? A number of holiday collections are underway and items can be easily donated at one location. Find out more!

Are you buying a new winter jacket? Did your kids get duplicate toys this year? Did Santa bring you a new cell phone?

If you have items you’d like to toss but aren’t sure what to do with them, a number of collections are taking place near Cherokee County and items can be dropped off right at MUST Ministries, Goodwill, etc.

If you have coats you no longer need, donations are being collected through One Warm Coat.

You can also consider dropping off items at Goodwill of North Georgia locations in Woodstock and Hickory Flat.

Cell phones piling up because you have the newest and best that technology has to offer?

Feel free to reach out to Cell Phone For Soldiers, which provides military service personnel with cost-free communications services to those serving on active duty and veterans.

If you have toys the kids aren't interested in any longer, take them to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta where they will be given to patients at the hospital.

Is your organization collecting donations this holiday season? Tell us in the comments!
