Woodstock to Mark National Day of Prayer

Observance to be held at the Woodstock Park gazebo on Thursday.

Woodstock will mark the National Day of Prayer this Thursday from noon to 12:50  p.m. at the Woodstock Park gazebo, 108 Arnold Mill Road.

The event is hosted by the Cherokee Christian Ministerial Association

National Day of Prayer is an annual service held on the first Thursday of May. The occasion invites all faiths to participate, and was created in 1952 by a U.S. Congress joint resolution signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
