Cherokee County Make A Difference Day

“Flash
Mob” Among Events Planned For Cherokee County Make A Difference Day

Flash Mob Dances are
designed to attract attention and raise awareness for special events,
announcements, or causes, which is why Woodstock High School senior
Lindsay Rhino plans a Flash Mob Dance to kick off National Make A
Difference Day in Cherokee County in October.

On Tuesday, October 1,
2013, the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners proclaimed
Saturday, October 26, 2013 “National Make A Difference Day in
Cherokee County.” Immediately following the reading of the
proclamation, Lindsay posted a YouTube video with the “simple
steps” included in the Flash Mob Dance for participants to
practice, and Envision Health Studio in Woodstock will post a list of
Cherokee County Make A Difference Day events on their Facebook page.

Individuals and
organizations hosting Make A Difference Day events in the county are
invited to forward their event information to Laura Mikszan at
Envision Health Studio (laura@envisionhealthstudio.com)
to be included on the list of “Difference Makers.”
