Elm Street Cultural Art Center has began construction on their new four acre cultural arts complex in downtown Woodstock (click here to see initial plan) that will include a performance theater, a visual arts center in a restored century-old farmhouse, and an historic visitors center to tell the story of Woodstock’s past .Elm Street’s park-like setting will include a sculpture garden, restored native wildflower area, community gardens and historic re-creations of flower and produce gardens around the old house. The location of the site is also adjacent to the proposed Greenprints Trail for easy access for both pedestrians and bikers.
