Aussie Mix Wants You

The Cherokee County Animal Shelter has a lot of pets ready to be adopted listed online.

A 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix is ready to be adopted. Colonel is 56-pound, tri-color mix. A representative from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter said Colonel is a "working" dog.

"He'd love someone that has time to spend doing things that use his brain," the Animal Shelter posted on Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch's Facebook page. "He is a herding breed, and sometimes herders do try to "herd" small children so he'd probably do best in a family with older kids."

Email sdcaldwell@cherokeega.com if you want to bring Colonel home with you.

ID No. 36225
