4 Woodstock Businesses Burglarized

A black male was captured on surveillance video breaking into four businesses last week.

The is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in burglaries Dec. 29.

Four businesses at 140 Colony Center Drive had extensive property damage and a Hewlett Packard laptop was stolen, said Lt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.

The suspect's image was captured on surveillance video at 10:55 p.m., and he appears to be a black male at approximately 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, Baker said. He was wearing black pants, a black jacket and gloves.

The landlord told the detective the suspect kicked in the door to the Maximus Company where the laptop was taken from the second floor. The on the second floor also had the door kicked in. on the third floor had desk drawers and papers scattered throughout the office. The landlord's office and a vacant office was also broken into, according to the police report.
