Atlanta Man Forges $1,500 Check
Regions employess confirmed the check matched to other forged checks, according to police officials.
An Atlanta man was arrested and charged with forgery in the first degree and negotiating a fraudulent check at Regions Bank Tuesday afternoon.
Woodstock police officers responded to a call at the Towne Lake Regions at approximately 2:30 p.m. to find Andre Bailey, 44, forging a check for $1,537.11, said Brittany Duncan, spokeswoman.
Regions employees also confirmed the check matched two similar forged checks that were successfully cashed Friday, March 18.

Bailey was transported to Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
