Police: Synthetic Pot Spurs Rampage

A Sherwin-Williams manager in Woodstock is accused of smoking K2, then fighting a co-worker.

A manager was arrested Monday night after smoking synthetic marijuana at the paint store, pulling a gun on a co-worker and trying to carjack passing vehicles, Woodstock police told WSB-TV news.

Patrick Bynum, 33, was booked into the on multiple charges after fighting with the female co-worker and several city police officers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. His bond is set at $279,680.

“It took three officers to subdue this gentleman after he was tased multiple times,” police spokesman Officer Randy Milligan told WSB-TV in a video report posted online.

The video shows white paint spilled outside the store and covering an officer’s pants after the altercation.

Bynum smoked K2, which is illegal in Georgia, before an argument with the woman over religion escalated, police told WSB-TV.
