Investigators Solve 3 Burglaries and 1 Theft

The Woodstock police investigators have solved four cases from October and November: one theft and three burglaries.

According to the Woodstock Police Department press release:

Paul Joseph Burns, 38, of Dallas was arrested and charged with burglary Nov. 18. A Finsbury Lane resident reported stolen two pistols, an Apple Iphone, firearm cleaning supplies, holsters and a jug containing a coin collection after returning home Oct. 26 from a three-month leave. The firearms were located by pawn records and returned to the victim.

Mario Cabrera, 42, of Powder Springs was charged with burglary Nov. 19. After being employed by a Woodstock resident to clean a rental property, Cabrera was accused of stealing two mattresses, a bed frame, DVD players and a surround sound system.

Aaron Matthew Gould, 20, of Smyrna was charged with burglary Nov. 29. He is being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center after being seen entering an unit at Alta Ridgewalk Apartments at 1 Elena Way and taking electronics. There is a second male suspect.

Micah Paul Truitt, 24, of Woodstock was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with theft by taking. He is being charged with stealing $200 from the cash register from his employer Climatized Self Storage, 42 Sycamore Lane.

The WPI said these cases are unrelated and they are pursuing leads on the suspect from the Alta Ridgewalk incident.
