Boating is a popular summertime recreational activity in Georgia, and Lake Allatoona is definitely a busy lake during this time of the year. According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the peak boating season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

It is important to learn the state regulations and safety measures before driving or getting on a boat.
