Help the Cherokee County Historical Society Identify These School Children

The nonprofit organization wants to know if you recognize children in these old photos taken at Oak Grove, Holbrook and R.M. Moore schools.

The Cherokee County Historical Society has recently discovered photographs of schools and school children from Cherokee County in the 1950s and 1960s in its archives and needs your help to identify the people and places in them.

"We do not have names or locations for the photos of the classrooms, however, the names on the outside of the schools include Holbrook, Oak Grove, and R.M. Moore," wrote the society on its Facebook page.

Any information collected by the society will be put in a database that will help future researchers and genealogists.
