Etowah Looks for Momentum Changing Win

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch on April 18.

The (15-6, 6-1) baseball team is ranked fifth in the state and will travel to Cherokee (8-12, 1-6) on Monday to play a region 5-AAAAA game against the celler-dwellar Warriors. Etowah has only won two of its last five games and Cherokee has only scored five runs in its last four games. Both teams are in need of a big win to change momentum.

will participate in the Region 7A-AA tournament at the Elks Club, 12:15 p.m.

River Ridge will participate in the Region 7A-AA tournament at the Stone Bridge, 12:15 p.m.

Girls Lacrosse

Sprayberry at Etowah, 7 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse

Walton at Etowah, 5 p.m.
