Friday Football Preview: 2 Home Games Tonight

Marietta (2-4, 2-0) at Etowah (4-3, 2-1) – Marietta might have four losses and trail in the overall standings, but in the games that matter – Region 5-AAAAA games – Marietta is ahead of the Eagles by half a game. With a win tonight, Etowah will jump ahead of the Blue Devils in the regional standings and enjoys its longest winning streak of the season.

Towns County (1-5, 0-0) at River Ridge (5-1, 1-0) – and Towns County are on opposite ends of the spectrum – the Indians have won just once, while the Knights have just one blemish on the schedule. Town County’s first win came last week, so the Knights need to watch out for any kind of momentum tonight.
