Rain Forces River Ridge Double-Header Friday

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch on April 29.

The River Ridge baseball team was supposed to play its first Region 7-AA tournament game on Thursday at Sonoraville, followed by a double-header on Friday at home. But rain postponed the event.

Now, the plan is to play a double-header on Friday at River Ridge High School, and if needed, travel to Sonoraville to decide the best-of-three series.

Girls Lacrosse

Walton at , 5 p.m. (Rescheduled from Wednesday)

Girls Track

Woodstock and Etowah will compete in the Region 5-AAAAA Track and Field Championships at Woodstock High School, 2 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse: Etowah 13, East Coweta 5
