Woodstock Council Candidates Will Debate Tonight

Here's what's happening today in Woodstock.

The six candidates vying for the Woodstock City Council will participate in a forum tonight in Canton

The forum, organized by the  Cherokee Tribune and WLJA radio 101.1 FM, will be held 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Cherokee Arts Center in downtown Canton.

The six candidates — Warren Johnson and John Szczesniak for Ward 1, Judy Davila and incumbent Bob Mueller for Ward 3, and incumbent Bud Leonard and Susan L. Jones for Ward 5 — are slated to participate in the forum. Questions were submitted by the public and will be asked by panelists during the forum.
