Living Science Named Finalist in STEM Education Awards

Living Science is vying for the Middle School Award in the 2nd annual STEM Education Awards.

A Woodstock-based home school program has been named a 2013 finalist for the second annual STEM Education Awards.

Living Science Home Studies is one of four finalists for the middle school category. The awards are coordinated by the Technology Association of Georgia and the TAG Education Collaborative

The awards ceremony will be held on Sept. 27 at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. A complete list of finalists can be viewed on TAG's website.

Living Science provides a hands-on approach to learning with students in its program. The program uses a Christ-centered approach to education.

The awards will recognize schools that gone above and beyond to support and promote STEM, or science, technology, engineering and mathematics, education across the state.
