Woman Injured In Single Vehicle Accident

A truck left the roadway and rolled onto its top along Arnold Mill Road near Woodstock Monday afternoon.

A young woman suffered minor injuries after the truck she was driving was involved in a single vehicle accident Monday afternoon.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. along Arnold Mill Road just before its Georgia 140 intersection near Woodstock.

Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to the accident, and found a white pick-up truck resting upside the down on the side of the road.

Tim Cavender, spokesman with the fire department, said the truck appears to have left the roadway and rolled over onto its top.

The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old woman, had to be extricated from the truck.
She was taken by ambulance to Roswell's North Fulton Hospital to be examined after complaining of neck injuries.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
