The Woodstock Police Department is investigating an alleged armed robbery at a local video game store.

At around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Cherokee County dispatchers received a call of a possible armed robbery at the store, located at 2990 Eagle Drive, Woodstock Police Spokesperson Sgt. Randy Milligan said.

Once police arrived into the scene, they discovered a structure fire inside the store. Only one person was injured, who is in stable condition at an area hospital.

"Currently, we believe there were three or four suspects who entered the store and they are still on the loose," Milligan added.

I wonder who the injured person was? All the kids are so nice that work in there, and one was in a play with my son. Hope they are all ok.

My husband and I were detoured around this yesterday and thank god nobody was seriously injured but out of curiosity as we cut thru at the area of burger King there was a car in a building between subway and cheeseburger bobbys. Was this related in anyway? Lets hope they catch everyone involved.

Elizabeth, I am very sorry to hear about your father's injuries. My kids and I have also been customers there since it opened, and we were very upset to hear about what happened. I hope the doctors are able to get your Dad's pain under control and that he is able to come home soon.

Not a regular customer but have been to the store several times and am very angry that someone would do this. I hope these future inmates are put in jail soon.

I am a very regular customer and close friends with the owner. I still can't believe this happened. I am praying for all involved and praying they catch the good-for-nothing's responsible for this horrible act!
