Woodstock Teens Charged With Entering Autos, Shoplifting

The two teenagers are believed to be behind multiple entering auto cases in the Towne Lake area.

Two Woodstock teenagers believed to be behind multiple cases of entering autos, shoplifting and two commercial burglaries in the city and the Towne Lake area are behind bars.

Austin Stepho, 17, and Christopher Eriquezzo, 18, are in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said on Thursday in a news release. 

Both teenagers were arrested last week and have been charged with 22 counts of entering autos. The Woodstock Police Department has also charged the teenagers with shoplifting and burglary.

Bond is set at $45,000 for Stepho while Eriquezzo’s bond is $160,700.

According to the sheriff's office, the entering auto cases occurred in the Towne Lake Hills East and Towne Lake Hills West neighborhoods and the Arbor View subdivision off East Cherokee Drive.

A video of the suspects allegedly flipping vehicle door handles was released on Aug. 2 in an effort to solve the crimes.

Some of the items taken from vehicles include cash, a laptop and a knife. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is using the incidents and the subsequent arrests to remind resident to remove valuables from their vehicles and to lock their doors.
