Woodstock Authority Makes Downtown Land Purchase

The Woodstock Downtown Development Authority plans to use the land for future development considerations.

The Woodstock Downtown Development Authority has moved forward with a real estate deal.

The DDA last week voted to purchase nine partially developed townhome lots next to the Wheeler Street parking lot.

The land, which also sits adjacent to Morgan's Ace Hardware will be used or "future development considerations," said Woodstock Director of Economic Services Brian Stockton.

The purchase price for the land is $200,000.
