Cherokee Educational Foundation Plans Logo Contest

The winner would receive a prize package, including one year's worth of Chick-Fil-A.

The Cherokee County Educational Foundation needs a new logo and it wants the public to help in its initiative.

The foundation has announced a contest in which the public can submit a design to represent the foundation and its theme of Raising the Power of Education.Β 

The foundation, organized at the request of Cherokee County School Board vice chair Janet Read, advocates for Cherokee County School district teachers and staff by promoting teaching and learning and celebrating student achievement.Β

The foundation will raise money and seek out resources to enhance the educational experiences in the school district.

The deadline to enter the contest is Dec. 3. The winner will receive one year's worth of free food at Chick-Fil-A in Canton and a $100 deposit in a Credit Union of Georgia account.
