Sheriff Roger Garrison Gives Back to Needy Children

The Anna Crawford Children's Center received $10,000 from the Sheriff Roger Garrison Charities.

Cherokee County Sheriff Roger Garrison earlier this summer continued his longstanding tradition of giving back to local nonprofit organizations in the community.

The annual Sheriff Roger Garrison Charity Golf Invitational, held on June 17, was held and the Anna Crawford Children's Center was one of the nonprofits that benefitted from the event.

This is the 19th year that Garrison has raised money to benefit the less fortunate and to help make a difference in their lives.

The event raised $10,000 for the center, which provides treatment for children and families who've experienced sexual abuse or severe physical abuse. They also conduct informational sessions to help prevent child abuse.
