Cornhole For a Cause, Farmers Market This Week in Woodstock

We have the rundown of what's happening this week in Woodstock and Towne Lake.

As you get back into the groove of the work week, Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch will keep you updated on what's happening this week in southern Cherokee County:

  • Early voting continues today in Canton for city of Woodstock's Nov. 5 municipal elections. Early voting will continue at the Election's Office, and will expand to Woodstock Public Library on Oct. 28.  
  • Saturday is the last day of the 2013 Main Street Woodstock Farmers Market! The market will be between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Chambers at City Center.
  • Summit Financial Solutions on Saturday will offer a Free Document Shred Day in Woodstock. Residents can drop off items between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at their offices, located at 1816 Eagle Drive. 
  • The Greenprints Alliance on Thursday will host a community outreach meeting to inform residents about their proposal to create a trail network throughout Woodstock. The meeting kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.
  • Cherokee Cornhole For a Cause will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at River Church near Canton. The event raises money for the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association IMDSA. Tickets are $20 per person and $20 per team.
