Celebrate the 1980s in Downtown Woodstock on Friday

The April installment of Friday Night Live will feature an 80s-themed festival.

The second installment of Friday Night Live in downtown Woodstock will give residents a chance to reminisce about the 1980s.

Residents are highly encouraged to wear their 80s gear and partake in the activities and specials during the downtown wide festival. Merchants will stay open late, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. as part of the celebration, and will offer special deals to customers.

An 80s Night Costume Contest will return for residents to participate in, and the winner will receive a $100 downtown gift certificate.

To enter, contestants — whether an individual or group — can stop by the Woodstock Visitors Center at Dean's Store to have their photo taken. An online voting session will be held the week after the event to select the winner.
